He worked on and wrote a wide range of holy Christian texts, including obscure medieval hymns, both Western and Eastern. Among his most famous hymns is the 1853 \u003ci\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Good_King_Wenceslas\" title=\"Good King Wenceslas\"\u003eGood King Wenceslas\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e, set on St. Stephen's day, known as \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boxing_Day\" title=\"Boxing Day\"\u003eBoxing Day\u003c\/a\u003e in the UK.
